My paintings and drawings are strongly influenced by the idea of symbolism, and perception peripheral vision, floaters, etc. I appreciate the colors and patterns around me to a heightened degree since I was a small child. It is natural to how I perceive the world and part of how I learned to communicate. I also enjoy long walks/nature hikes and socialization.
If you are wondering why my art looks very dreamlike, yes, I do have neurodivergent conditions, which I treat with intermittent ketogenic diet and vitamins/mineral-type brain supplements for the past 16 months. Things are well and those close to me have much to say about my improvement and productivity! But let’s move on.
I like to combine rainbow colors by blending or by proximity to avoid flat monochrome, crosshatching using different curve strokes depending on what object I’m drawing. I often paint and draw in a single artwork. Additionally, I have a small amount of teaching, volunteer, and tech/game development/
Left: “Jesus is Wiping Tears from Overton” (An overton is a window of perception of moderate USA political stance, where outside said window, there are extremes on either side). I drew this artwork in the hope, as cheesy or idealistic as it may sound, that God can help people in my country see our commonalities and get along/listen better. There is an illusion in the drawing that you have to look closely to notice, but once you see it, it explains my whole reason for drawing this…
I’m a professional artrepreneur! I do feel pretty different sometimes, but you know what I’d like to think makes me really different? I wish to show you the dedication I have to my craft. See a look of surprise on the faces of passerby wherever I go!
Art is a deeply introspective thing, and more than just a signature makes an artist’s work recognizeable. Imagine you walked into a café and an artist features their work there, but all of it is too different to call a memory device as to who did it.
Since this is a business, I have taken years of my life to develop my advanced Expressionist/Realist technique I call triodynamic monochroma, where I blend three colors on adjacent or opposite ends of the color wheel, avoiding flat monochrome grays. This gives an irridescent feel to surfaces that would have been grayscale, in the realm of my art. This signature style I keep consistent in most of my pet portraits, people portraits, cityscapes, and wild abstractions.
Here is a portrait commision I drew, and completed after approximately 20 hours of work, depicting a sweet mastiff dog called “Honey Bear”! I take many such detailed requests.
