Erin Masterson originals’ stories!

Above: “Statue of Liberty Costume, 42nd Street, New York City”

At 42nd Street NYC, people often dress up as icons or characters. The subject of this drawing is a person dressed up as the Statue of Liberty on stilts, with a thumbs up and starburst emanating from the American flag stars. There’s also a lot of detail on reflections, blurring, and details just like in my reference photo I snapped. This took me nearly a month to complete!

I drew a commission portrait of the sweet Honey Bear mastiff dog!

“Parakeet Affection Session”

These parakeets (budgerigars) Bo and Peep, my late pets from 7-8 years ago, I have immortalized in this large mixed media artwork (drawn/painted). Don’t worry: I’ve drawn them many times, so yes, this one is for sale.

“The MoonStone Comes”

Based on a dream I had about a meteor apocalypse. In the dream a monk ran up to people watching the meteor fall and cried out, “The MoonStone Comes and we receive it! Come with me: you’ve been deceived! Two lovers underneath the MoonStone, kissing underneath the runestone [Stonehenge], kissing underneath the blue stone [the night sky]!”
